Working at pace to create change:In 2018, Kate worked with Rachael Lewis from Envision Consulting on a project to ‘Build Collaborative Transformational Leadership in a Leaderless Team in NHS Community Health Services’, Kate and Rachael’s urgent approach to working with this team led to significant projects being rapidly undertaken by the team to proactively integrate and improve service delivery with other services and to greater alignment of work to key NHS objectives.

This Senior team had been leaderless for some time. With a reputation for good delivery, they were struggling to meet ever increasing workloads, fill key vacancies and morale was low. They were not stepping up to make strategic decisions and had become isolated from other services. Through a programme of one-day interventions over 4 weeks, they developed effective collaborative processes for strategic decision-making.
